Urgent Care Practitioner

Jacky Huzar

We recognise that recently due to not being able to replace retiring partners it has become harder for you to book appointments, which is frustrating for you and our team. To improve this situation we have recruited an Urgent Care Practitioner to join our clinical team. Jacky can independently assess, diagnose and treat patients, and can prescribe the same medications as a GP. She can deal with urgent problems such as infections (urine infections, chest infections, infected wounds etc) and any acute problem you normally require a GP appointment for.

When they are on duty and you require an urgent appointment you will be offered an appointment with the Urgent Care Practitioner.

This does not prevent you from pre-booking review appointments with your own GP but urgent problems will be dealt with by the Urgent Care Practitioner when available.
